ECOMONDO 2026 — Georgian Business Delegation in Rimini

As ECOMONDO’s regional partner in Georgia, CERMA is bringing together representatives of 10 different sectors in a Georgian business delegation that will visit the ECOMONDO international exhibition in Rimini in November 2026.

Visit dates: 3–6 November 2026
Location: Rimini Expo Centre, Italy
Delegation: Representatives of 10 sectors
CERMA’s role: Regional partner and coordinator

About the Project

ECOMONDO is one of the leading international exhibitions and business platforms for the green, blue and circular economy in Europe and the Mediterranean region. Held in Rimini, the event brings together technology manufacturers and suppliers, businesses, professional organizations and the public sector in one place, presenting solutions for waste management and recycling, water, bioenergy, resource recovery and other environmental fields.

CERMA’s regional partnership with ECOMONDO enables Georgian businesses to take part in this international platform in a targeted way. The delegation members were selected based on the needs and development opportunities CERMA has identified in its work with businesses — in the context of new environmental requirements, efficient use of resources and the transition to circular models.

Project Goal

The project aims to use ECOMONDO’s international platform to find technologies, solutions and partners that meet the specific needs of Georgian businesses.

During the visit, participants will learn about technologies for waste reduction, collection and recycling, opportunities for resource reuse and recovery, circular business models and innovative production solutions. Meetings are planned with technology manufacturers and suppliers to assess the potential for introducing their solutions in Georgia and for further cooperation.

Each participant will focus on the technologies and companies that have the potential to solve a specific problem in their sector or to create a new business opportunity.
